Pi Power Processor

A programmed microprocessor, and capacitor, used to allow a Raspberry PI to be switch in and off with the press of a button.

Build your own PI Power circuit using this microprocessor and capacitor. All you need to add is a couple of additional components and your ready to go.

  • Sense when the PI has shut down and switch off the power at the mains.
  • Using a single push of a button, switch on the mains power and boot the PI
  • Switch an auxiliary relay on once the PI has booted.
  • Safely shutdown the PI with a single button push, turning off the Auillary relay at the smae time.
  • LED indication for the PI system state (Rapid flashing without the PI, Flashing whilst Booting, Solid when Booted).
  • Can be run between 2 and 5.5 V
  • Typical Current draw at 5V 0.625 mA (Max 1.1 mA)
